Mom-Approved Wellness Smoothie to Boost Immunity, Energy, and Mood

Mom-Approved Wellness Smoothie

If you’re looking for an easy, delicious way to support your immune system, boost energy, and sneak in a few extra nutrients, this is the smoothie we come back to every single day (it’s inspired by this post!). It’s packed with real food ingredients, takes just a few minutes to blend, and can be adjusted for toddlers, too.

Whether you call it a wellness smoothie or an immunity drink, this quick blend has become one of my favorite healthy habits, especially during cold season.

Mom-Approved Wellness Smoothie to Boost Immunity, Energy, and Mood

Why I Swear by This Wellness Smoothie

I started making this smoothie when my energy was low, everyone in the house seemed to be catching something every week, and I needed something simple. Now it’s become a daily non-negotiable.

  • It’s loaded with nutrient-dense ingredients like berries, spinach, ginger, turmeric, and chia seeds
  • It fills me up thanks to the protein and healthy fats
  • It keeps things moving (shoutout to prunes)
  • And it’s one of the few health habits I’ve stuck with—even in survival mode

I even make a toddler-friendly version, and my littles love it just as much.

My Daily Wellness Smoothie Recipe

This version makes two servings; my husband and I drink it every morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons, peeled
  • 200g frozen berries and cherries
  • 100g spinach (or kale)
  • 30ml apple cider vinegar (optional – strong flavor!)
  • 15ml avocado oil or peanut butter
  • 16g fresh or frozen ginger
  • 40g prunes (or dates)
  • 16g flax or chia seeds (I usually do 50/50 split)
  • 5ml honey (local if you can!)
  • 2g cinnamon
  • 2g ground turmeric + a dash of black pepper
  • 30g collagen
  • 25g protein powder
  • 32oz water

Tip: If you’re not a fan of the vinegar taste, you can skip it or take it separately as a shot.

Immune-Boosting Toddler Smoothie

This version is blended with real food ingredients and no added sugar—perfect for toddler taste buds. It’s our go-to when the sniffles start going around.

Toddler Smoothie Ingredients

  • 70g frozen berries and cherries
  • 120g Ripple milk (or more if blending from frozen or for a thinner texture)
  • 60g plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
  • 30g frozen spinach
  • 60g banana
  • 7g chia seeds
  • 10g flaxseeds
  • Dash of cinnamon

It’s balanced, not overly sweet, and packed with nutrients they don’t even notice. (Spinach + berries = sneaky mom win.)

How I Meal Prep Smoothies for the Week

Prepping smoothie bags ahead of time is one of the easiest ways to stay consistent, especially when mornings are chaotic.

I make 3–5 smoothie packs at once and store them in stand-up Stasher Bags in the freezer. This works for both the adult and toddler versions—just leave out the water or milk when freezing.

Here’s how I layer each bag:

  1. Frozen fruits (berries, banana, etc.)
  2. Spinach or greens
  3. Lemon slices or juicy ingredients
  4. Seeds, powders, and protein
  5. Sticky stuff (like nut butter or oil) goes in last

In the morning, just dump it into the blender, add water or milk, and blend. It takes maybe two minutes, max—and you’re out the door with something nourishing.

Smoothie-Making Made Easier

We’ve streamlined our smoothie setup to make it as quick and simple as possible. A few tools that make this a breeze:

  • A high-speed blender that can handle frozen fruits and greens
  • A digital kitchen scale for measuring ingredients in seconds
  • Stand-up Stasher Bags to freeze smoothie ingredients ahead of time
  • A dedicated smoothie bin to store your chia seeds, flax, protein powder, and mix-ins

This Wellness Smoothie Is Worth the Hype

Whether you’re looking for a daily immunity drink, a toddler-friendly smoothie, or just an easy way to fuel your morning, this blend has you covered. It’s quick, flexible, and full of feel-good ingredients—without being fussy.

Try it for a week and see how you feel. You might just make it your go-to, too.
